Aftor the Washington comes a jumbled clump of teams that, with a timely win here and a Husky loss there, could de throne the 'Dawgs and march into tho Rose Bowl. The California schools — Cal, Stanford, USC and UCLA — will give llie Huskies the big gest challenges, as could Arizo na State and possibly Washing ton State. "The four host learns physi cally in the conference are the California schools," James said "The rest of us will just try to keep up." On offense, the Huskies are blessed with not one, hut two outstanding quarterhucks in ju nior Billy Joe Hobert and senior Mark Brunell. James suys that Hobert is currently the startor, but both quarterbacks will see uction throughout the season.
