While this may not be the
best possible scenario lor out
door enthusiasts, it does open
up some rather unique oppor
tunities Those people who just
can't live without trips in the
snow still have the higher ele
vations m which to enjoy the
while stuff, but the unusual
weather means everyone else
c ail hike to some places that are
almost always snowed in at
this time of year
There’s something tun al
most daring about Inkmg
into areas during the middle ol
the winter that typically require
long trek-, by snnwshoe or on
skis And for people who either
don't like traveling over snow,
or don't have any experience
doing so, warm winters open
up rare chant es that aren't usu
ally open to them
One of the easiest of these
