Although the team practices all
year, most of the competition takes
place twice a weekend from April to
September. I he team spends a lot of
time trying to raise money by clean
ing up after and selling pop at the
tiKitball games,
"A lot of people complain about
having to do the fund raisers," I an

C’vcling is an expensive sport, and
incidental fees can usually only pay
race entry fees. I.andree suss each

Anyone can participate, but I.andree
says he chooses six people to make
up an "A" team to represent the
team at the national competition.
I his year’s competition will be Mas

I he team is, however, looking tor
more women. "We sail send up to
five women to nationals and right
noss we only have one," he says.

credible and he isn't worried about
the dupiu ation.
"We don't have am affiliation
with the collegiate team,"he says.
"At the tall tryout, we uere only go
