The 15th-ranked Oregon

long dominance of the state's
collegiate wrestling ranks with
Friday night's 24-15 defeat of
the visiting Oregon Stale Hea

Mohommadi at 12ti and Mark
Hoenk at 150 to give Oregon a
scare, but their teammates
proved to be no match for the
rest of the Ducks.

crepancy in takedowns." Ore
gon Coach Ron Finley said.
Oregon registered 35
takedowns. 12 from Dan Vidlak
and seven apiece by Scott

the lighter weight brackets by
moving two of his most consis
tent performers, seniors Rob
Stone and Scott Glenn Glenn,
normally the Ducks' represen
tative at 142. dropped down to
G14 while Stone moved up
from t:<4 to 142
Neither wrestler disappoint
ed Finley, as Glenn recorded a
22T> technical fall and Stone
took the most dramatic victory
of the evening, a t-2 win
against Neil Russo.
Glenn dominated Rob Henry,
securing the technical fall with
40 seconds remaining in the
second period and improving
his record to 25-2-1 Stone's
match was a different story
Trailing 2-1 in the third peri
od. Stone gained position over
Russo and tied the match when
Russo was penalized one point
for stalling with four seconds
remaining. When time expired.
