SPORTS Oregon wrestlers trampled Stanford Oregon's wrestling team wrapped up its five-match, seven-day California trip with a 40-3 rout of Stanford Wednesday night. The Ducks won all five matches in California to im prove their dual meet record to 6-0 this season. It was also Oregon’s 17th straight dual meet victory over the past two seasons Oregon was never seriously threatened against the Cardi nal, winning the 167-pound and.heavyweight matches by forfeit and picking up techni cal falls and easy decisions the rest of the way. Pat Marai and Curl Strahm won their 126 and 190-pound matches, respectively, on technical fall*. In wrestling, a technical fall occurs whan one opponent leads by 15 or more points. Dan Vidlak, the second ranked 116-pounder in the na tlon. had an aasy time in a 20-6 win over Phil Norwich while Rob Stone, at 134 pound*, also had an easy time in a 9-0 win over fay Jackson. Scott Glenn (142 pounds). Pat Craig (ISO pounds) and Damn Gustafson (156 pounds) were also winners for the Ducks.
