team received votes in this
week's Associated Press Top 25
polls released Monday
In the final regular season
football poll, the Ducks re
ceived 24 votes to finish in
2'lth place overall. Oregon's
opponent in the Freedom Howl.
Colorado State, received six
votes for 33rd place overall
Colorado remained atop the
poll while Georgia Tech was
second again. Texas moved up
from fifth to third with a win
over Texas A & M. and Miami
and Notre Dame rounded out
the top five, respectively.
Washington and DSC were
the only Pacific-10 Conference
schools to be included among
the Top 25. The Huskies moved
from ninth to eighth this week
while the Trojans were 21st
again this year.
The next AP football poll
will be released after the {an 1
bowl games.
