IFC hears YWCA plea;
votes against artists

down the morning of Nov. I r>
the day the budget was due
The American Institute of
Graphic Artists will remain
zero-funded, however, because
group members not only failed
to submit a budget on time but
did not appear at Tuesday's
meeting to explain their request
for a deadline extension
The IFC also voted unani
mously to allow a student
group to receive IFC funding
after just one year of recogni
lion by the ASCO. though each
group must also prove to the
IFC that it continues to provide
for the phvsii al and cultural
development of the University
student body.

At the Nov 21 IFC meeting,
the group voted to allow the
KMC and the Intercollegiate
Athletics Department to submit
their budgets after the required
deadline because the two
groups operate on a fiscal year
that is different from other stu
dent groups'
