Oregon opened the game with an 18-‘l

first half The Ducks battled back, how
ever, to top St Joseph's on a 10-2 run of
their own for a .14-20 Oregon lead

Kutgers. 70-58. Saturday night in New
Jersey.
The Ducks owned a comfortable 10-8
lead midway through the opening half
hut surrendered its advantage to a 10-1
1-adv knights' scoring spree.
Rutgers forward Vicky Picott ignited
the i harge with six of her game-high 10
points during this run. which put the
knights in front. 24-17.
Poor hall handling, shooting, and re
bounding drastically hurt the Ducks
against Rutgers.
