Across town, located inside Kowloon's Res
taurant, Scandals Night Club makes its own do
nation ol comedy, twice weekly.
Scandals opens its comic stage every Thurs
day and Friday night from 9-11 p.m. There is a
$1 cover charge and no one under 21 is ad
mitted.
"The comedians are funny and they involve
the crowd." Chan said. "They all have their own
style and they judge what the audience will
like."
Before and after each show, Scandals plays
music to liven up the crowd's spirits. Also, af
ter each show, the club offers drink specials.
So, if it's a night of laughs you're looking
for, take your pick.

“Red didn't use to be like
that. Everybody wanted to be
a blonde. It might be because
in advertising today, red is a
really popular color."
A change of hair color
needn t be only for those with
a daring streak. "If someone
is making a drastic hair color
change, we now have color
that lasts for only four to six
weeks." Wold said. "And if
they want just a subtle
change in color, I usually do.
color weaves,"
Moving away from trend,
one can always be daring and
request a head-turning style
But for the most part, both
stylists agree that the really
exotic haircuts are diminish
ing. “People on campus are
not wild enough," Stallings
said
These days, however, the
story doesn't end when the
haircut is over. It's at that
point that you face the
"gook" rack, the rack loaded
to the hilt with gels and greas
ers and spritzers and sprays
‘ What you buy depends on
what you need," Wold said.
For volume, try mousse. For
control, gel works best. For
definition, a new product
called pomade will do the
trick.
