Doonan and his associate on
this project, Scott Hemet, both
graduated from the University's
Master of An hitecture program
in 1082. Sim e that time, they
have cooperated on several pro
jet ts including the renovation
ot a similar building in kahuna
zoo. Michigan in 1088
Doonan and Hemet see the
Broadway building as a vital
part of the larger projet t ot
bringing lite hack into the
downtown area instead of fur
thering the "urban sprawl"
that Kugene has seen
