General medical attention and treatment, (all visits but the first visit of each term to Health Center physicians and nurse practioners are paid for by your student health fee.) 2. Women’s Clinic. (Provide services such as breast and pelvic exams, pap smears, treatment of gynecological problems and sexually-transmitted diseases, fittings and prescribing of all birth control methods and information, and pregnancy testing and counseling.) 3. Minor Surgery. (Major surgery and other procedures requiring general anesthesia and specialists are referred to private physicians.) A. Sports Medicine Physical Therapy Clinic. (Provides services for athletes, recreationalists, and other students who have injuries, pain, need rehabilitation services, or who need advice regarding physical activities and conditioning.) Allergy Clinic. 6. Nutrition Counseling. (Diet analysis and individualized weight control pro gram can be discussed during a ses sion with the nutrition educator.) 7. Immunizations Clinic. 8. Health Education (The health education center contains a library, free pamphlets and self-care dis plays. Peer health educators staff the room to answer your guestions. Contact them at: 346-4456.) 9. Insurance Billing. (Could save you money. Check at front desk.) (3) Mental Health Care. (4) Health Education Services. What You Will Be Billed For: The University Business Office in Oregon Hall will bill you for one office visit per term, tests, x-rays, medications, shots, physical therapy, dental procedures, sports medicine, and special procedures. Under most circum stances you will be billed for failure to keep an appointment. If you are re ferred to service outside the Student Health Center, you will be responsi ble for all bills. ina
