Feb. 7 and Feb 1H:
• EPD cited the sec retary of the Phi Gamma
Delta fraternity for prohibited noise on Feb

had been advised earlier to keep the noise
down.
• A $75 end table was reported stolen from
Boynton Hall to OPS on Feb. 16.
• The theft of a car stereo was reported to EPD
on Feb. Hi. The stereo, which has no listed
value, was stolen from a Volkswagen Rabbit
parked at 15th Avenue and Columbia Street
• A $180 couch was reported stolen from
Moore Hall to OPS on Feb. 15.
• A case of arson in a Parsons Hall dorm room
was reported to EPD on Feb. 11
Earlier that evening an unknown suspect
had sprayed flammable! liquid or spray on
some paper taped to the dorm door and set it
afire, scorching the door.
Later, a resident of the room opened the
door to find someone had draped tissue paper
on the doorknob and lit it. The resident
stopped the fire.
At about 4:3Q a m. the residents awoke
from the sound of someone piling debris out
side their door. The residents then saw flames
through the crack of the door.
The residents put out the fire with a fire
extinguisher Total damage to the carpet and
door was $222

• A case of criminal mischief and Ihefl at the
Bean Complex parking lot was reported to OPS
on Feb ') An unknown suspect pried open a
car’s sun roof, causing $.HX1 damage and stole
a $150 car stereo
• The theft of a wallet from Hendricks Hall
was reported to OPS on Feb ti. A University
student came out of a 30-minute interview
from the Career Planning and Placement Office
to discover the bag containing her wallet gone
The total loss was $30.
• A camera and personal stereo were reported
stolen to EPI) on Feb. H The items, with a
$450 total value, were stolen from a desk
drawer in l-awrunr.e Hall.
• An assault in Burgess Hall was reported to
EPI) on Feb. 7
The assailant, who had broken up with
the other at Thanksgiving after an eight-month
relationship, demanded the return of four of
his shirts and one of his sweaters he’d given
her. The assailant grabbed her and continued
arguing, at one point pining her to the floor,
and she yelled for help.
EPD is continuing investigation of the in
cident.
• In addition. OPS reports four hikes stolen,
none recovered
