Eugene Police Department reports between
May 14 and 17:
• An KPL) officer cited the Campbell Club co
operative, lti/0 Alder St., for violating the
noise ordinance during a late night (>arty May
14 When the officer arrived, he reported he
could hear the music, coming from a band at
the party, two blocks away
• Unknown suspects on May 15 stuffed shred
ded newspapers in the sinks of the laundrv
room used by residents of Tingle-McClain
dorms and turned on the faucets, flooding the
mom The suspects also scattered newspapers,
and hung pages from a pornographic magazine
and wrote derogatory remarks about the
dorm's custodian on the walls
• A vacuum cleaner worth $ l'H) was reported
stolen from the fourth floor of Carson Hall May

• A $400 window at the Alder Street Market.
708 Alder St., was smashed May lti. As an
FPD officer left the market after taking a report
from the store's owner, he saw a group of four
subjects standing on a nearby corner, one of
whom matched the description given by the
owner By the time the officer arrived, the sub
ject had left the group
• Unknown suspects entered the University
Bookstore sometime between May H> and 17
and stole $t>84 worth of merchandise The sus
pects went to the bookstore's sound room and
took an amjdifier valued at SMB and a $Hr>
handbag
• In addition. OPS reports five bikes stolen,
and one recovered.
