Twilight Meet crucial to Ducks

Although Bill Dellinger tries
to downplay Saturday's Twi
light Meet as next week's Pacif
ic-10 Conference champion
ships approach, the annual af
fair could be a big meet for

qualifying berths
"We will lie pointing our
team for the Pac-10 meet in two
weeks.” Dellinger said, "but
we'll try for as many NCAA
qualifying marks as we can this
week at the Twilight."

will make an attempt to meet
the 5.000-meter NCAA stan
dard of 16:27.24 against talent
laden 3.000 and 5.000 fields.
