at the Sun Devil wrestling tour
nament over the weekend.
The Oregon wrestling team
took one title (Jarrett’s) and two
second-place finishes Saturday
in Tempo.
Transfer Eric Messner placed
second at 158 pounds and Curt
Strahm was runner-up at 177
pounds. The Ducks also had
four third-place finishers in the
all-day tourney.
The Ducks were competing
against Brigham Young. Cal
State Fullerton. Cal-Poly-SLO
and host team Arizona State.
Oregon returns to action with
dual matches on Friday at
Humboldt State and Saturday
at Stanford.
