the songs arc covers, plus the j
thing is only slightly longer than j
a half-hour. Dylan albums used
to be long, and they used to be
written by Dylan. The good 1
news is that the covers are really i
fun — Wilbert Harrison's "Let's
Stick Together" has the right
amount of bite to it, while
"Shenandoah" is fine acoustic
Dylan. His singing has deterio
rated a bit (he sounds like he
smokes too much) but despite its
blemishes and short running
time, Down in the Croovc is
definitely worth having.
