of the city-sponsored Summer Con
certs in the Parks series from 6 to 8
p.m.
The Community Center for the
Performing Arts will feature Big
Brother and the Holding Company,
with Michelle Bastion tonight at
9:30 p.m. at the WOW Hall. Tickets
are $8 at the door, and $7 in
advance.
Wednesday, July 27
A La Carte will perform popjazz
swing music at Westmoreland Park
at 1545 W. 22nd Ave. from 6 to 8
p.m. as part of the city-sponsored
Concerts in the Parks series.

Mart, “Merrily" chronicles in
reverse order the 25-year friend
ship of Mary Flynn, Frank
Shepard and Charley Kringas
(played by Kimberly Robinson,
Brad Goodman and Eric James
Madley, respectively). The play
opens in 1980 with Frank, a
famous Broadway composer,
delivering the commencement
speech to his alma mater's
newest graduating class. The
production then moves
backward year by year until the

three friends met in the late
1950s.
