money will come from the

which is generally used for ma
jor improvement projects.

According to the new rules,
formal grievances now must be
submitted in writing.
In addition to the time
restraints, grievants may seek a
hearing for their complaints.
The hearing committees in
these cases will In; comprised of
faculty members who will make
recommendations regarding the
disposition of grievances.
If grievants remain un
satisfied with a committee’s
recommendations, the decision
may Ik* appealed to the school's
president or an appointee of the
president. If the grievant still re
mains unsatisfied, he or she
then may appeal the president's
decision to the board
