and elected some of its 1987-88
officers on )une 5.
The Senate approved the ap

the ASIJO Constitution Court.

The Senate also appointed
student Senator Corey Wynn to
the Associated Student Presi
dent's Advisory Council
(ASP AC).
Karen Frymoyer was voted as
chairwoman for the 1987-88
Student Senate. Frymoyer is
currently serving the second
half of her two-year Senate
term.
The vice-chairman position
went to )on Kisling. also in his
second year on the Senate.
Peter Paulson was elected as
the Committee on Committee
chairman. Tlm> committee is
responsible for appointing peo
ple to more than 80 different
University student-faculty
committees.
The Information and
Grievance director for next year
will be Alicia Sloan. She wiil be
in charge of the grievance and
information booth located on
the main floor of the EMU.
The Senate also elected Eric
Grimes as next year's press
secretary.
When the Senate meets again
next fall, they will elect an ex
ecutive secretary, the vice presi
dent of the University Senate
and a representative to the
University Senate Rules
Committee.
