which the funds are being
spent, but at least a significant
group of students is being im
pacted in a postive way in its
educational experience," he
said.
Frohnmayer concluded on
the issue of funding politically
active groups that “there is pro
bably a fair amount of latitude."
He said the State Board of
Higher Education or university
president has to make the final
determination if expenditures
actually advance the interests of
a significant portion of the stu
dent body.
Frohnmayer then opened the
floor to student questions.

The Eugene Concert Choir
will present a 12-hour sing-a
thon on Feb. 7 in Studio 1 at the

Hull Center. Live music will be

concert season. The event is free
and open to the public. Those

Hearted Woman," a film
described by The Washington
Post as "the kind of film that
does not go away," will be
screened tonight at 8 in Room
101, EMU. The film documents
the murder of a Native
American woman.

once. Events with a donation or
admission charge will not be
considered. Events occurring

campus events will be given
