DESCRIPTION: The U0 Symphony is an
ensemble comprised of University of
Oregon students from the
undergraduate and graduate levels,
music major, music minors, and non
music majors. The goal of the
ensemble is to study and perform
standard orchestral repertoire,
including the compositions of
twentieth-century composers. Study
of these materials are aimed at
helping students achieve
professional and amateur performance
goals. Public concerts are given by
the ensemble each quarter, both on
and off tne UO campus. The UO
Symphony is a high visibility
ensemble and has received both local
ana national attention.
