Eugene Agenda
to be discussed
at public forum
Any person interested in
discussing the eight-part
Eugene Agenda, especially the
proposed Riverfront Research
Park, is invited to attend a
meeting of concerned citizens at
7 p.m. in Harris Hall, 777 Pearl
St.
The Eugene Agenda is com
prised of projects meant to
revitalize the city’s ecomony
and livability. The agendu in
cludes such diverse projects as
the Riverfront Research Park, a
proposed high-technology park
that would he developed jointly
by the city, University and a
private developer, and a pro
posal for a new or expanded
public library.
The agenda also includes a
proposal for a city-wide income
tax to fund future diversifying
projects.
