The Cashiers’ farewell party

It seems a musical era is about to end in
Eugene as The Cashiers, hailed as one of the
area’s hottest rock'n’roll groups, are planning a
final performance this Saturday in the WOW Hall
beginning at 9 p.m.
The Cashiers' decision to disband after "three
years came as a surprise to many of the group's •
followers, says joanie Mohan, manager of
Eugene’s New frontier Market, which is co
hosting the. event alohg- .with the Community
Center for the Performing Arts
