Frazier and Chris Wright.
Wright also finished second
in the 400-meters with a 48.2.
In the special 1,500-meter
race held after the dual meet,
Olympic gold medalist Joaquim
Cruz withstood a small rally by
Kevin Ryan to win in 3:41.2.
Cruz, who is running in the
international circuit this year,
said that he had been working
out very slowly.
"This time today gives me a
good idea about what shape I
am in now, and that means 1
don’t have to change my
workout,” said Cruz, who will
run two more races later in the
year.
