One of the world’s premier chamber
ensembles, the Tokyo String Quartet,
will perform as the guests of the Univer

Since its formation in 1969, the quartet

Oundjian and Kikuei Ikeda, violist
Kazuhide Isomura and cellist Sadao
Harada.
The program will include Beethoven’s

and Smetana’s “Quartet in E Minor,
‘From My Life.’ ”
The quartet will perform in Beall Con
cert Hall at 8 p.m. Tickets will go on sale
