Weekend wet but...
weather can't
dampen the spirit
It was .) weekend that just begged tor
sunshine.
Hut the sun seemed to exhaust itself as The
Crazy Hs finished the outdoor beer garden
(photo bottom right) on the Aider Street tennis
courts Friday afternoon.
Saturday's skies turned cloudy, frequent
showers forcing the Willamette Valley Folk
Festival indoors and a wet Hayward Field track
slowing times but not dampening the en
thusiasm of contestants and crowd at the
Oregon Special Olympic s (photo right).
Sunday, parents checked out the lugone
campus scene on the last day of Parent's
Weekend (photo far right) and Kevin Skipper
(photo below), backed by the' University (iospel
I nsemble, sang "I Don't believe He brought Me'
this Far to Leave Me," to open the folk test
Sunday.
