A workshop on whitewater raf
ting is being offered tonight by
the University's Outdoor Pro
gram. To help you get involved
in this outdoor sport, the pro
gram's raft co-op is holding a
free session that will cover
personal clothing, river safety,
raft repair, and how to par
ticipate in the raft co-op. Trips
from the co-op have floated
nearly every river in western
America. This session will be
held in the Outdoor Program’s
office in the basement of the
EMU beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Exploring the islands of the
South Pacific is the topic of a
multi-media slide show Tues
day at 7:30 p.m. in the EMU
Forum Room. This presenta
tion follows the journey of two
sun lovers as they explore
French Polynesia, New
Zealand's southern Alps,
Tasmania and the west coast
of Australia. For information
