The first concert, which took place on August 25, will feature the Albinoni “Sonata in C Major for Trumpet and Str ings,” with guest trumpeter Sally Nelson, Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll,” Beethoven's “Sextet in E-flat, Op. 71,” and Mozart’s “Symphony No. 40 in G Minor, K.550.” This concert will be aired on May 9. On May 16, the concert will feature special guest conduc tor and horn soloist Barry Tuckwell performing the Brahms “Trio for Horn, Violin and Piano," also featuring Lawrence Smith on piano and Phillip Ruder on violin. Also in cluded on the program are the Stravinsky “Dumbarton Oaks Concerto” and the Brahms "Serenade No. 2 in A Major, Op. 16." The third concert, presented on May 23, will feature Telemann’s “Trio Sonata in C Minor for Flute, Oboe and Con tinuo” with Ray Fabrizio on flute, Wendy Leyden, oboe, Tim Scott, cello, and Glory Fisher, harpsichord, the Mozart "Sinfonia Concertante for violin and viola, K. 364” with Phillip Ruder, violin, and Ronald Arron, viola. The con cert concludes with Wuorinen's "The Magic Art: An Instrumental Masque.” Black and white photographs by San Francisco bay area photographer Linda Conner will be displayed in the Photography at Oregon Gallery at the University art museum during May. The exnibit, which runs May 4-29, presents images taken in India and Nepal during 1979-80. Also included are im ages of North American petroglyphs and ancient native carvings in stone. The music school’s Song and Dance Troupe will present its spring concert at 8 p.m. Fri day in Beall Hall. Featured will be group numbers from Broad way musicals such as “Chorus Line” and "Bye Bye Birdie,” and traditional jazz selections. Admission is $2 at the door or $1 for students and seniors. Soprano Kay Creighton will give her senior recital at 4 p.m. Sunday in Beall Hall. She will be assisted by Jeff Norling, piano; Alice Burke, flute; Dale Bradley, cello; and Bruce Pat terson, harpsichord. The pro gram includes pieces by Handel, Schubert, Chausson and others. Violinist Mark Lotz will give his senior recital at 8 p.m. Monday in Beall Hall. He will be assisted by Matt Cooper on piano. The program includes pieces by Mozart, Debussy, Brahms and Kreisler.
