Cup of Coffee," the Darkhorse Band crooning the
"Stray Cat Strut" courtesy of the Stray Cats, and a
multitude of piano/vocal solo acts at Thursday
night's Homecoming Talent Show in the EMU
Ballroom
But a group of dancers from the Alpha Chi
sorority were presented with the first place plaque
for a choreographed dance titled "Twilight
Zone " The talent show, sponsored by the Greek
Activities Council in cooperation with the EMU
Cultural Forum, featured 13 acts
The talent show was just one of a series of
events that the recently formed Greek Activities
Council sponsored this week to encourage
Greeks to become involved in homecoming
activities
On Wedesday, one volunteer from each sor
ority and fraternity donated blood to the Lane
Memorial Blood Bank Blood Mobile Greek
houses will participate in a sign contest today,
and will take their entries to the Oregon —
Washington State football game Saturday at
Autzen Stadium On Saturday, each fraternity and
sorority will host individual open houses from 4-6
p m for alumni and interested individuals
