SUAB will readjust
The ASUO constitutional
committee decided Tuesday
that the Student University Af
fairs Board should reapportion
The committee will let SUAB
decide on its own "reasonable"
reapportionment plan for the 18
board positions. Board
members are elected by
academic constituencies" —
traditionally interpreted as
school majors — and the ASUO
Constitution empowers the
committee to review and rear
range the constituencies "to
insure reasonably equal repre
sentation.”

schools do not deserve board

Abortion is safe and legal in a
clinic setting. The Portland Women’s Health Center
offers abortion services up to 18 weeks from the last
menstrual period. The abortion procedure used up to 12
weeks is vacuum aspiration with minimal dilation.
Dilation and Evacuation (an adaptation of the
suction method) is used for abortions 13
to 18 weeks Abortions are performed
with optional local anesthetic.
