Kevin Willhite gives Dana Hill a "low five" after listening to Oregon pull ahead of Washington 21-17 in
the fourth quarter on the radio, as the two freshmen walk away from the Oregon International Track and
Field Meet at Hayward Field Saturday Willhite is red-shirting after injuring his hamstring, while Hill

The Oregon offense was able to move the
football against the Huskies all game long The
Ducks were able to keep the Huskies off balance
with the passing of Kevin Lusk and the running of
Jones, Ladaria Johnson and Mike Jorgensen
Washington, though, was able to do the same.
Brooks said
"They were really quite diversified on offense,"
he said "That's the most diversified I have ever
seen a Washington offense
It was a very physical football game, Brooks
said matter-of-factly “There were some awfully
hard hits out there
"Mike Jorgensen did a heck of a job while he
was in there," Brooks said "Kevin also did a hell
of a job until those last two interceptions I
thought they both executed things we haven't
seen in the first three games We moved the ball
well, I thought "
And now, for the question of the moment Are
the Washington Huskies a legitimate No 1 -ranked
football team ?
I voted for them last week as No. 1 and I will
vote for them again this week," Brooks said "I
think they have an outstanding football team
They know how to mix it up They executed all
different types of plays against us "
There are others who may not think of the
Huskies as a top-ranked college football team, but
as just another tough Pac-10 football foe
“I'll admit they are a good team but they sure
didn’t seem to hit like a No. 1 team should hit,"
said Jones, who carried the ball 14 times for 64
yards and a beautifully-executed 22-yard touch
down run “I just didn't think they were that
tough "
You'll hear...
If you didn't get your jeans from the Buffalo, you got skunked.
