tee elected Bart Hill, a so
phomore biology major, its
1982-83 chairer last week
The committee elected Hill
by a 5-0 vote with two absten
tions.
Junior Elizabeth Fry, a jour
nalism major, was elected
vice-chairer over Jeff Nudel
man. a senior political science
and history major, by a 6-1
vote
Bart Hill will take responsibility
to unify and direct the committee
Hill, who hadn't planned to
seek the position, said he was
persuaded to run by former
IFC chairer Karsten Rasmus
sen and by the need for an
effective committee
"There is a responsibility for
the committee to be unified
and directed," said Hill, "I felt
could do this," he said
