“Bleep Terrain Reecue” is the topic of a workshop
Friday and Saturday at the Black Angus Restaurant,
2133 Franklin Blvd Sponsored by the University's
Continuing Education department, the workshop will
include an indoor session on Friday from 8:30 a m to
5:30 p m featuring steep terrain first aid and man
agement On Saturday, participants wifi be able to
observe and practice steep terrain climbing Activities
will include equipment use, rappel techniques, and lifting
and lowering methods. At 8 a m Saturday, participants
will meet at the Black Angus packing lot. car pool about
20 miles, then walk one-half mile to top practice site.
Climbers should wear outdoor clothing tndbring gloves,
rain gear and a hard hat. Participants may eam one
college credit for a cost of *65 The oost for those who do
not register for credit is $45. For further Information on
