67-5X effort to add to his 207-8 triumph in the discus, while Jim Hill (below left)
celebrates his victory in the 1,500, and David Mack (below right) accepts the praise
of Hayward Field fans for his third straight Pac-10 800 meter triumph. Some 8,000
fans showed up on a sunny Saturday to watch the final day of the meet.
