Law professor
wins fellowship
An associate professor at the Univer
sity's law school has been selected to
receive a three-year, $30,000 Kellogg
Foundation Fellowship Award
Linda Greene, whose interest is in
employment discrimination, was one of
50 recipients selected from more than
700 teachers and administrators across
the nation. She is the only fellowship
winner from Oregon.
The W.K. Kellogg Foundation of Bat
tle Creek, Michigan, responding to a
“recognized need tor broad-gauged
leaders in today's society," annually
names up to 50 individuals of excep
tional merit The fellowship winners
carry out non-degree, self-directed ac
tivities designed to broaden their social
and intellectual sensitivity and expand
their personal horizons beyond their
chosen professions.
Greene has been a University faculty
member since August.
