SALEM
CHANGE, the Coalition of
People Hanging Around
Waiting for a New Governor and
a New Economy, was formed

“qualified leaders" to run for
governor — whether or not
they're experienced in politics
CHANGE claims Oregon's

vice president in charge of print,

dealing with budget cuts "
Jim Zaney is another person
contacted by CHANGE, Gliberal
says, adding that Haney "has a
vast groundswell of public sup

Archie Beerstein “would
bring to the governor’s office 80
years of experience in living;
this accumulated knowledge
could only help Oregon,” says
Gliberal
Jerry Rust, a former harvester
of trees and grass who dreams
of Oregon being the windmill
capital of the world, is also ex
pected to announce soon,
Gliberal says Rust promises, if
elected, to pump millions of
dollars into "perpetual motion
