University Theatre presents

starting Feb 26
Peer (James Conant) is a man
who wanders through
dream-like adventures from the
underground troll kingdom to
the icy wonders of the north
searching for a meaning in life's
strange twists During his odys
sey, he encounters romance
and adventure, but never seems
to find the answer to his quest
"Peer Gynt" is the culmina
tion of 15 years work for Direc
tor Faber DeChaine Sorting
through several translations of
the classic folk tale and study
ing the original work in Nor
wegian, DeChaine has put
together a fresh translation of
the play
With original music by David
Mulder, the play will run Feb 26
and 27 and March 3 through 6 in
the Robinson Theatre at Villard
Hall
