Oregon coach Gary Vander

assistants that Seattle Pacific
would not present a problem for
the Ducks, and that turned out
to be the case Senior Sara

Oregon, taking firsts in the vault,
uneven bars and balance beam
en route to winning the all
around competition with a score
of 33.15
She was backed by two
freshmen. Jerri Frazer and Julie
Tennenhouse, who took second
and third in the all-around re

"I was pleased with the way
we went after it,” said first-year
coach Vanderhoef, “and Maur

bars.”
Nolan, who took second on
the bars with a score of 8 05,
was not so sure "I think there's
definitely room for im

It was a disappointing meet

of the Beavers, but instead had
to settle for a 16 point difference
and a dual meet record of 1-1
