of International Business

scholars in the field

with American and foreign

books on international and
economics including 'Financ
ing World Trade'' and "U S
Foreign Investment Policies and
the Nonfuel Minerals indus
tries." Mikesells latest book.

was selected as one of the out
standing academic books of
1980
Mikeseil has also had exten
sive consulting experiences
with agencies including the U S
Senate Foreign Relations Com
mittee the U S Department of
Energy and several large U S
mining companies
MiKeseu is presently a
member of the editorial board of
the Journal of International Bu
siness Studies and a member of
the National Materials Advisory
Board which serves under the
National Academy of Sciences
and the National Research
Council
He served as a senior econ
omist in the U S Treasury
Department in 1942-46. was a
member of the staff of the Pre
sident s Materials Policy Com
mission in 1951 and served as
an adviser to the United Nations
Workshop on Foreign Invest
ments in 1976 and 1977
