Service within Springfield has been greatly
improved, featuring better access to the
Mohawk shopping area, more buses traveling
by 5th and Q (Fred Meyer), new service past the
Centennial Shopping Center and direct service
from the senior citizen community on Quinalt
to Willamalane Senior Center, with local routes
connecting sites within Springfield, the route
along centennial between Eugene and the
Mohawk shopping area has been streamlined to
make travel time much more competitive with
the automobile, in general, routes have more
two-way service, cutting down travel times for
many trips!
Daytime service to Weyerhaeuser is much more
convenient, thanks to shuttles that run through
the plant during shift times. Roughly 80% of
the daytime employees live within three blocks
of the route! (This route also provides connec
tions for everyone between the Springfield Mall
and Thurston.)
