Football ticket sales soar
Regular season ticket totals
for University football games
have already set a record and
overall sales (including faculty
and family tickets) continue to
climb toward the all-time record
set two years ago
As of last Tuesday, 9,163
regular season tickets had been
sold compared to the record of
8,783 set in 1979 Last year,
when a total of 8,692 tickets
were sold, the count was at
6,253 on July 21, putting this
year's figure almost 3,000
ahead of that pace
The total figure, which in
cludes faculty tickets and family
plan general admission (which
