caused a difference of opinion
among Wesley Center board
members
"Some think it's a good idea
and some do not Personally, I
don't want to go to Koinonia,
but I can’t say that we won’t
go."
According to Gordon, "It
would be acceptable for CALC
to stay if the Methodists did not
come, but I'm not certain about
CORD "
CORD moved out of its offices
July 7. and will be sharing space
with CALC until August 15 After
that, If the Methodists approve
the move to Koinonia, both
groups will need to find another
place to go

President's Award for Scholas
tic Achievement in the Robert D
Clark Honors College
James Shephard, who earned
a degree in general humanities,
and Kevin Cassity, who received
his degree in English, earned
the award in recognition of their
outstanding scholastic records
and completion of distinguished
senior theses Both graduated
at the end of summer term 1980
The award sponsored by the
University Mother's Club, was
presented at the annual Honors
College graduation reception in
June Each received a recogni
tion citation and $50 Honors
college graduates trom summer
1980 through spring 1981 were
eligible for the award
Shephard’s thesis was titled
"The Laws of Oleron and the
Development of Modern
Maritime Law ” He is currently
teaching and studying in the
history graduate program in
Poitiers, France
Cassity s thesis topic was
" ‘K in Zion’ and Other Stor
ies "
