    City slates summer outdoor music series
Summer's here ana the time is

The Eugene Parks and
Recreation Department is
sponsoring a series of 17 free
concerts in city parks this sum
mer The series includes con
certs at Skinner Butte Park on
Sunday afternoons and at
Amazon Park on Thursday
nights
Highlighting the Skinner
Butte Park concerts will be the
reggae band Native Pulse on
July 26, the Lon Guitarski Group
on August 9 and a blues jam on
Sept. 13 Just Friends, an Irish
folk group, will appear at
Amazon Park on July 23 The
Sunday concerts start at 1:30
p m and the Thursday night
gigs at 7:00

9 and noon at the Campbell
