Chinese bronze technology will
lecture on the production, pa
tination and preservation of
Chinese bronze Wednesday,
April 8.
W.T. Chase’s lecture, illus
trated with slides, will take place
at 7:30 p.m. in Room 107 Law
rence Hall. It will concern the
historical development of
bronze casting techniques up to
the Han Dynasty of the early
third century. Chase will discuss
the physical deterioration of ar
tifacts, and fakes and forgeries.

Gimme Shelter: Planning for Housing In
the Fiscal Crisis of the '80s is the topic of a
conference sponsored by the National
Lawyers Guild, Saturday from 9 am. to 4

affecting low income people will be pre

Planners' Network will present a keynote

"Sprocket Holes tor Lunch,” the popular
noon-time film series, returns with new titles
today at 11:30 a m. in Studio C of the
Instructional Media Center in the basement
of the Library. Today s films are "Flash
point" an-animated film dealing with the
environmental threat posed by oil tankers on
the West Coast, and "12,000 Men," the
history of the development of unions in the
coal mines of the Canadian Maritime
Provinces.
KWAX will hold its 30th birthday reception
Saturday night at 7 p.m. in Gerlinger Alumni
Lounge.
A choral concert of student composer's
works will be held Saturday night at 8 p.m. in
Beall Hall.
Iranian Students Cultural Night will be
held Sunday night at 6 p.m. in the EMU
Ballroom The event is sponsored by the
Foreign Students Organization.
The Eugene Symphony will have a preview
Sunday night at 7 p.m. in Beall Hall
