The University Women's Club
has raised more than $2,500 for
the University Library through
its Sponsor Your Books
program, says organization
Pres. Margo Ramsing.
The club recently gave a book
on advanced mathematics —
J.S. Milne’s "Etale
Cohomology” — to the Library
in honor of acting Pres. Paul
Olum who is a mathematician.
The University Women’s
Club, the University Foundation
and the Library initiated the
program in the fall of 1979 to
help the Library deal with the
rising cost of books.
In January, the University
Mothers' Club gave $150 for the
book program.
