Two students snag scholarships
Two University students have
been named the recipients of
Antoinette Shumway Stanton
Memorial scholarships for jun
ior or senior students majoring
in health education.
Julie Snider of Corvallis and
Mark Hanson of Eugene
received a book allowance and
a partial tuition remission, re
spectively.
Established in 1969 by the
late Edgar Stanton, the scholar
ship fund is administered by the
University Foundation. The
scholarship honors the memory
of Stanton’s late wife, who
helped found the University

1918.
