A New Plan
for Better Service
The Main Library has been reorganized. The
new system simplifies the organization of
books and consolidates user services. There is
now one reference desk instead of four, from
which the librarians will be able to provide
better reference service. Clerical routines will
be more efficient because they are now
arranged by function, such as the
maintenance of unbound periodicals, rather
than being divided by subject division where
staff had several different responsibilities.
