any team would have trouble
getting both physically and
mentally ready for another
game And the Ducks were no
ticeably tired against Chico
State the next afternoon It may
not be of much consequence
during a game, but road trip
exhaustion gets to be a problem
when it starts affecting their
school lives
"You miss a lot of school."
says Berry "It's tiring on your
make-up, I’m going to be gone
again I hope I finish up with all
my units, but I d rather just play
hockey the whole time and not
have to go to school '*

team was back in high spirits
TheJer was dancing again —
this time with Lona
"If we win," says Berry,
"everyone's excited (coming
back), but even if we lose, we
still have fun." Singing, danc
ing, screaming, and yelling
continued into the night
"Why don't you guys shut up
for a while?" cracked Plantz
The team reacted in total shock
— for about five seconds, and
then it was back to the singing
and dancing

off the trip in grand fashion He
