science group
A leading US scientist will
join the University faculty to
direct a teaching and research
program in the neurosciences
Michael Menaker. 44,
currently at the University of
Texas at Austin, will begin set
ting up his new laboratories
next month and will join the
University faculty in September
His credentials include
influential research in the study
of ' biological clocks'* in the
brain.
Menaker. who joined the
Texas faculty in 1963. holds a
bachelor s degree in zoology
from Swarthmore College
(Penn ) and a doctoral degree
in zoology from Princeton
University
