Corrections, amplifications
The explanation of the recommendations of the West
Eugene Industrial Area Study was incomplete as reported in
Wednesday's Emerald.
The study recommends retaining large parcels with good
access for industrial development and rezoning less desirable
industrial land for residential development.
Also Wednesday’s report on Gov. Victor Atiyeh’s tax relief
plan should have read that the state would assume any taxes
above the rate of $15 per $1,000 valuation.
